^^^It's funny how Brad can walk around essentially wearing the same kind of Jack Sparrow weird facial hair thing on his face and look ridiculous and gross but when Johnny does it all I can think of is making babies with him. Damn you Vanessa for being insanely wonderful, gorgeous and French.

First Official Pictures from The Rum Diary
The long awaited big screen adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's debut novel The Rum Diary is set to hit screens sometime next year. Johnny Depp, who played Thompson in Terry Gilliam's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, once again slips into the skin of this wily Gonzo journalist. Film Totaal has our first look at Depp in character on the set of The Rum Diary.
Begun in 1959 by a then-twenty-two-year-old Hunter S. Thompson, The Rum Diary details the life and events of Paul Kemp, a freelance journalist who finds himself at a critical turning point in his life while writing for a run-down newspaper
in the Caribbean. Paul is challenged on many levels as he tries to carve out a more secure niche for himself amidst a group of lost souls all bent on self-destruction. Thompson delivers a potent story that pushes the sometimes-brutal truth of human relations into your face in such a way that it would be absurd to not laugh.
The Rum Diary comes to theaters in 2011 and stars Johnny Depp, Amber Heard, Aaron Eckhart, Giovanni Ribisi, Richard Jenkins, Amaury Nolasco, Michael Rispoli, Marshall Bell. The film is directed by Bruce Robinson.

I'm glad they did a film for Rum Diary but that's because Hunter Thompson is my favorite author, I don't think it was that great of an idea in terms of hopeful success though, so few people even know who Hunter was, I really want to see how it does in theatres

Johnny Depp is preparing to launch his own record label and has dispatched staff to scour London for new talent, according to a U.K. report.
The Hollywood star initially embarked on a music career when he left school, playing with several rock groups before turning his attention to acting.
Depp remains a massive music fan and recently helped British band Babybird produce a new record by funding their studio time and even playing on several of their tracks.
And now the Pirates of the Caribbean actor is said to be ready to launch his own label.
According to Britain's The Sun, Depp has founded Unison Music and has hired talent scouts to search for new acts in the British capital.
A source tells the publication, "Johnny has always been passionate about music. He's taking a really hands-on approach to signing acts.
"Obviously he can't get to as many gigs as he would like but he's got a good team around him and will personally vet any signings that they make."

I can wait to see The Rum Diary ^^ and of course The Tourist, always look forward to a movie of Johnny's though.

Finally some roles that he do not have to look total wierdo! hahah.
Don´t get me wrong, I love Johnny in those roles but it is re-freshing to see him not to wear crazy wig or crazy costumes.
I did some googling and found picture I have never seen. Darn, he looks gooooood.
