That gq interview is so interesting to read now he's won his case against Heard. So he was telling the truth all this time. So happy for him.

^ lol just because he won? so what about the time he lost? was he lying? is GQ now a reliable source of information regarding domestic violence?. It all depends on which system you believe, one that is strict about the rule of law or one that feeds off spectacle, letting cameras in, fanaticism among the jury and guided primarily by the fear of 'being cancelled' or chased by the mob.

Anyway, back on what this thread is about: his style is getting worse by the minute. It used to be 'cute-ish' and consistent with the promotion of his vapid summer movies about some pirate like 20 years ago, but now? the scarves and hats? the eyeliner? lol, it's okay to graduate from 2005 aka. the last time you felt young. And it's okay to realise that no, you're not a rockstar, you're just some commercial one-dimensional Hollywood celebrity that chases musicians thinking that if you hang out with them long enough, you'll almost pass as one. Still haven't heard anyone say 'hey, how about we play some Johnny Depp?' .. but certainly have met people who suggested his movies when they just wanted to watch 'something light and forgettable'.. no brain needed.

The whole point of style is that it evolves and it is meaningful to the individual. It doesn't matter what you think of his style, if that's how he expresses himself it's literally the only thing that matters. Also I'm not one to argue with a court verdict. From a legal perspective his ex wife was found to be a malicious in her accusations. And Johnny's 35 year career speaks for itself, he has nothing to prove as an actor.
