I think he made a step forward in the right direction this season. I've always had a soft spot for his space-age aesthetic, and I'm glad to see it's more refined this time around (although I did leave out a lot of the more agressively Star-Trekky looks - he hasn't given them up completely). I suppose in general this collection still qualifies as "difficult," but it's also quite modern and unique. Imho.
I wasn't really a Jonathan Saunders fan coz I find his stuff really hard to wear. But I absolutely love this. I love the colours and the woven dresses. This is just lovely!
i was always a Saunders fan so im pleased with what i see so far. i adore his shapes and silohettes they can cover a range of bodies plus the colour combos aren't bad either.
Interesting! I like most of his stuff here, less geometric prints. Except the plaited ones looks a bit...um, not appealing.
Love post1 #1,4,6, post4 #1,2,4
I love it! Very beautiful. No wonder he's always been Maria Luisa's favorite. No so much colorful-print as before, maybe he's trying to redefine himself?
I only like the 4th and 5th dress posted. It's too much of a hodgepodge for me. He made a step in the right direction, now he needs to focus on how to execute the ideas, unless this is really what he had in mind
i too like his signature spacey, graphic aesthetic. i don't think this is necessarily better than past collections, although there are some really strong pieces. i like the two dresses in the middle and the last dress on post #2. the color combination really works on the middle strapless dress on post #4. the rest of his stuff is on the fence... at least he hasn't gone stale.
I like it! Simply put. I can't put my finger on it right now (possibly because I just got out of the Michael Kors S/S 06 thread )
But seriously intrigued...
