I haven't found a thread on Jordi Labanda, so I decided to create one.
I love his drawings on agendas, notebooks, pens, beach towels, bags etc. I think he deserves a thread at tfs

I don't really like his work, it's not something that stops me and strongly stands out as it's not the kind of style i necessarily like but it is pretty fun, and i enjoy it for that.

I think his work is not a stunning art but you´re right sphagnum is pretty fun, I bought this small notebook in Spain (where he is from) for 1 euro

i think these are fun sort of fashion illustrations and i'm definitely into that sort of thing but only really when it is confined to things like notebooks, stationary, journals, greeting cards etc...

i find it to be more of a cartoonish type of art... fun to look at but not a whole lot of substance

interesting that this is so popular, it's basically standing for everything i do not want to see in illustration ... so flat and lifeless but then again not drastical enough in its artificialness.

Ive always loved the cartoonish look, but i dont like heavily backgrounded 'fashion illustration' because it diverts from the clothing, but for art its cool.
