So basically, the my switched from costume to actual real clothes…
The perspectives for American designers are kind of depressing. They cannot take over Ralph Lauren or Michael Kors or the big giant staples of American fashion.
They are left with Gap, Helmut Lang (in it current state), Calvin Klein, Banana Republic and Victoria Secret.

And when the brand is prestigious, the position goes to an European lol.

He split from Kering who had a minority stake in the brand so it makes sense that he would partner with VS for a large payment.
