Josephine Skriver

She reminds me so much of Erin Wasson when she was younger.

hey peeps, don't know about you but I totally prefer Josephine on the runway and that's well weird! usually it's the other way around, I like somebody's print work and not the runways.

^ same here actually  i love her walk and she carries everything so well on the runway. but we
really haven't seen much of what she's capable of in printwork, there's big room for development ^_^

yeah but I think her face looks slightly commercial...I might be mistaken though, hopefully! her face is perfect for all the beauty shots and the close ups in general but she's just 'too pretty' and 'girly girl', she lacks some fierceness hehe.

I've given that some thought before, and I keep waffling back and forth, really. There are times where I feel like there's nothing exceptional about her face outside of being really pretty (too commercial), and there are times where I feel like it's very memorable. I suppose it's possible that it's very memorable for being pretty.

I think there's a timelessness to her face that harkens back to an era where models didn't necessarily have to be odd looking to be successful. And she's good on the runway. She doesn't have a lot of experience in print work, so she can improve there. Ultimately, I think it's up to her. If she develops into a good model, I think she can have a very successful career with crossover/commercial appeal. If she becomes too one-dimensional, she'll probably need to latch on to that big campaign in order to be successful.

I don't really think it's a huge problem, because as you say, she looks good on the runway which can keep her in the industry if she has the drive to keep doing them.

I didn't expect to see her there, but I'm really pleasantly surprised! :crush:

What? How not?
I was sure that she is going to be at Chanel. She is like the new CBN (came to the scene and immediately scored all A list shows)

What a lovely surprise, opened the thread just to see gorgeous Josephine at Chanel. Beautiful
