not a juicy fan but if you need that look for an LA brand, 'morphine generation.' it's like juicy's 'evil twin' everything is the 'bad girl' version of what juicy made. warning; the fabrics are really cheap its going to fall apart after a year or too much washing/drying.

somewhat off topic, maybe, but honestly, have you guys ever worn juicy? I had sworn it off until this year when I tried on a pair of terrycloth shorts and noticed they were insanely comfortable and are not cut so short that you can see your rear end like you might think (actually, if they aren't "rolled", they're longer than the shorts any of my friends have!). I mean, a lot of Juicy Couture's designs for regular sportswear are tacky and ugly but some of the traditional lounging/activewear stuff really isn't that bad. I still swear by their terrycloth shorts, they have great stretch and a roomy cut and I haven't had a single problem with quality yet. All my seams are stil lin place, there are no holes, no color fading...I'd say they're definitely worth the $40. Just because people with terrible style often wear a brand does not mean the brand in itself is terrible. Just stay clear of smocked tube dresses, things that say "JUICY" across the butt, and the color hot pink, and you may be pleasantly surprised.

Hey im 14 and a dancer too...so might i ask- why not basic dance attire from danskin or capezio? Are you required to wear sweatpants? You could always opt for dance knits. I personally like Capezio's ABT warm-ups.

My preference is Soffe-the stuff that cheerleaders wear. I own a bajillion pairs of shorts and one pair of pants and they not only look good but are so comfortable.

Lululemon is greeeat- its a Canadian company but now has stores in the USA. Personally, I've been wearing Ron Herman vintage (the Free City stuff). I'm still a student and sometimes a girl just needs to wear her sweats (ex. can never ever write exams in tight jeans or whatever, or for a really early class...)

my vote goes to lululemon athletica as well. good quality and wide selection. I guess you can say it's stylish gym clothing. since this is for dance class, yoga pants would be a good choice i think. I don't think TNA is available in the States. like what many others said, sticking to teh basics of adidas or dance clothes (danskin?) would be ideal as well
