this delightful spread in the july/august issue of avenue magazine has raised the bar for calgary fashion magazines!
the six page story was shot entirely using polaroid cameras in various location around the city of calgary.

^ About Victoria's Secret? I was a little surprised also, but she looks great. She can be either commercial or high fashion when she needs to be and I think that's gonna benefit her in the long run. Versatile models are the best, I think.

I was thinking the EXACT same thing..strange. I never pictured Julia in VS for some reason; there's something slightly off about that. Maybe her look is rarely used for VS, I dunno what it is. When I think of VS, I think of golden skinned ethnic girls with dark or golden hair and gray, blue or green eyes. VS usually uses a more hispanic or mediterranean look. Perhaps they're changing it up which is always good.
