She looks absolutely stunning in the Alexander McQueen pictures.

I don't know if anyone ever saw but there was an article a few weeks ago in the Australian Financial Review called 'Look what the catwalk dragged in' which is a long article about how ugly the writer Emma-Kate Symons thinks models are. I only just saw the article now and she attacks Julia more than anyone else for some reason.

So who do we have as their replacements today? Overall there is a cohort of much younger, barely-out-of-their-teens models like Cara – gigantic eyebrows – Delevingne; Belgian Hanne Gaby Odiele of the very large forehead; and Australia’s frankly unremarkable ex-skateboarder Julia Nobis.

The Bondi-bred Nobis is often presented on magazine covers as if she is wearing little make-up, and showing up her rather large nose. No offence, but this young lady isn’t a patch on Schiffer or Karen Mulder. And haven’t we had our fill of pale young models who look like they just stepped off the Siberian steppe or actually did? Elle Macpherson would be considered too tanned and happy for today’s miserable runways.

We consumers of course aren’t fooled and are hardly going to bowl out of the house looking like Nobis.

Anyway, looking at those Alexander McQueen pictures I would GLADLY bowl out of my house looking like Julia. She looks gorgeous!

The emma-kate woman's jealousy and bitterness is just steaming off her, I actually find her quite amusing and pathetic. Imagine trying to use Julia's nose as an insult when we know it has secret powers
