Alexandra Sandberg who casts Haider Ackermann posted on IG after the show: "thank you for these years with us @juliaobis. A pleasure having you on board".
Richard, her agent at DNA, commented on a pic saying it's her last round (of shows?).

^ Oh wow! Well this is bittersweet than. I guess its expected with her wanting to focus on school. I'm sure she'll be around here and here. Hopefully.

Yes, I hope I'm wrong but it seems she will be more focused on her studies now. dsamg mentioned it a while ago:

Well now that she has finished her undergrad sciene degree she will start grad medicine in a year or so and disappear from the industry so she is probably just getting in a few last seasons.

I hope she will still have a little bit of time for print work here and there!

I did hear something about that when she was in Sydney in December. Really sad! But great for her. Maybe she will still do some local work here sometimes.

Wow, I hadn't heard this before and never was her biggest fan to begin with, but I admire her career and how she is handling everything so gracefully. Also, kudos for pursuing a career in medicine rather than staying around forever desperately hoping for some recognition - God knows there are already enough models doing this.

Wow, sorry to hear her leave (the runway at least). Honestly she's had such an incredible career, and all without having to resort to social media.

Ugh no more Julia after this season? I've always liked her on the runway but seriously, this girl's personality is just amazing. So chill and friendly. I've never heard of anyone in the industry getting weird or judgy vibes from her...everyone loves her. So so sad to hear that she is leaving but she'll be moving on to follow her passion, which is wonderful.

Her show-runs are legendary at this point. She really is a hard worker, so she's going out with a bang. Career still strong.

Well then a fashion week without her will seem odd for me.
Been a fan since 2011, I'm glad to see her career grow through the years. On top of that, she closed for one of my favorite designers, Dries Van Noten, in her last array of shows. What a beautiful way to say goodbye.
