One moment, Australian born Julia Nobis was simply walking home from school, dressed in her uniform, and the next an agent from Priscillas Model Management was stopping her to ask if she had any interest in modelling. Shortly after, Julia made her debut on the Calvin Klein Fall 2010 runway, and from that moment on, a star was born.

Already having graced the pages of Dazed and Confused, Dansk, Love Want, Oyster, Vogue Australia, Vogue UK, and i-D magazine, and walked the runway for Topshop, Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Rick Owens, and Prada, she has recently landed a high profile job with Calvin Klein.

Her personal style just oozes cool. Usually seen with hardly and make up, she loves quirky oversized printed t-shirts usually with 1980’s rock motives. Part of the hip-model crowd, she loves her skinny jeans, leather trousers and converse trainers. She accessorises her long blond hair with unusual headgear like yellow baseball caps or Ancient Greek-inspired hair bands. Her take-it-easy attitude to fashion adds to her flair and inspires the people around her.

While her tomboyish looks quickly alter to any designer’s aesthetic, Julia’s talents extend past the world of modelling and into two very different industries. On one hand, Julia is able to dance her fingers around a guitar and piano, and can work her magic with a set of drumsticks, but she’s also lining up her future stars to attend medical school and become a doctor!
