An old editorial of which we only had the BTS pictures because I had tossed the magazine without scanning, thinking no one would ever care enough about Julia to ever want to see this, haha. But Jelmoli just re-uploaded the old magazines to their website. But admittedly, she doesn't look her best here with that clownish make up.

Also, Julia is said to make an appearance at the Energy Fashion Night in Zurich this weekend. Can't wait to finally see her in real life, even if it's just from afar. Unfortunately I won't be volunteering this time, I would have loved to meet Julia

Trying to summarize/translate a bit:
She talks about what it was like attending Cannes Festival after she won the EML and how excited she was to see one of her favorite novelists, Paulo Coelho, there. She also says how surprised she was people were shouting her name because she never thought anyone would know her and that it seems crazy now how much has happened since then. She says she tries to stay down to earth by asking her agency to give her enough spare time to spend time with her family and relax so she won't get too stressed out.
I like the part where she talks about model friends because I feel like she always says she doesn't have any friends in the industry and it always makes her seem like a total loner. In this article she says it's fun to be working with other models and how they often all end up being on the same plane and they have a lot of fun.
Then she talks about how impressed she is by Karl Lagerfeld and Mario Testino and that she wants to learn as much as possible from the shootings because she'd like to get into photography herself but she doesn't have a good camera yet.

Regarding the French interview, could it be that she's doing the Resort show for Chanel?

Thus, she is already looking forward to see Karl Lagerfeld in Cannes for the traditional Chanel show on the Croisette.

Would be great to see her there.

And here's an interview in Swiss-German, I couldn't understand everything, but I think she's in New York right now and has options for some jobs.
Maybe some Swiss could help.

Sorry, I totally left out the part about her going to Cannes again and doing the Chanel show. But yes, that's what I got from that sentence, too


And in the Swiss German interview (she's so cute in that one! ) she talks about being excited about doing Energy Fashion Night again and that she's looking forward to working with the Swiss models and being able to talk Swiss German with everyone backstage. She says that the atmosphere in Hallenstadion (the fashion show takes place in that concert venue) is always fantastic so she's really excited about that. She says doing that show is not just a job for her because she's friends with most of the models who will be there and she thinks it will be fun. Then she says the usual stuff about how exciting it is to be shooting with big photographers, meeting Anna Wintour, etc.

Then she talks about currently being in the running for some exciting jobs about which she can't reveal anything yet because nothing is confirmed but she's really hoping to get those jobs. She also talks about what she likes doing when she's in NY and has a day off (hanging around with her model friend, going shopping, doing nothing, taking a walk in Central Park and taking pictures).

BTW, she uses the word "extreme" A LOT

Goood, how I wish it was true! Julia by Miles is just the most amazing thing one could imagine!

^ are you out of your minds? Miles Aldridge has to be one of the most boring phototgraphers in major magazines. Every model ends up looking lifeless in his editorials, having to deal with cats, kitchen work and gaudy yellow, red and blue all together.

Though he sometimes produces something decent...anyway how can you be sure? Julia S applies for Stegner too, no?

And I ****ing love Miles Aldridge, I have several posters of his photos on my walls, haha. I actually love how the setting and the colors are usually the main focus and the model is often just a doll-like creature placed in all of this. I imagine Julia would look amazing in an ed of his so I really, really hope it's her!
