Julien Macdonald S/S 10 London

Julien doesn't get the credit he deserves, I think he's just suffered with really bad PR, hopefully now his label has packing he will be able to carry this work on and take it up a notch!

I'll have to be a maverick here and say that I'm not feeling it... cutout leggings? Pam Hogg bodysuits? It's tired.

style.com full collection. I love it :)

I'm seeing some Balmain inspriation... but WHO CARES!? Atleast he rocked it! I LOVE THIS!

The thing I like the most about this collection is its lustre. I noticed he used a lot of glittery fabrics. It's like he transformed the models into trophies. Very clever use of shiny materials.

I'm not normally a fan of exaggerated shoulders, but julien did them perfectly here.

Fantastic pieces. Some really gorgeous coats.
I don't care if Julien was doing this before Decarnin or whatever - this doesn't look anything like Balmain.

So true, I loved some of his collections for Givenchy but he wasn't "cool" or "it", so he didn't have the support. Plus his knits are still great.

I do usually like his collections and this one is not an exception.

that setting is increeedible

all the models look horribly orange though
