Up and coming from the UK, much like Zac Posen in the USA. Mischa Barton and Halle Berry are known to wear Willamson, and Paris wore a Pink Julien Mcdonald dress to the UK house of wax screening/ and the headlining gold dress Noami modelled at London Fashion Week to Cannes.

He does alot of Babydoll dresses..he does seem abit bland and lacking. He says he looks to Sienna Miller for inspiration. His new range of bra's are dull..simple..just laced and mostly dark colours

I am a fan of Matthew Williamson...but lately he is slacking ...i dont see any wow factor in his collection anymore...

ive met julien mcdonald and have to say, i think he is the greate4st guy.

his work is good. not jaw dropping, but he is great at what he does.

as for him as a person thought i think he is just amazing.

he did a great job for givenchy.

and he has been nothing but good publicity for the london college of fashion.

as for matthew - doing a range for debenhams is the starting of a big decline......

I think McDonald can lean a bit towards 'the tacky', I prefer Matthew Williamson although his 'hobo chic' look could use an update to become commercially more succesful now that the highstreet has gone hobo all the way .

I'm really not a fan of either. Each has had a few pieces I liked, but overall the collections are bland and unoriginal. I especially disliked the last fall/winter collection of both.

as far as i know he only sells at harrods
