RETAIL THERAPY: How to release some tension after showing a collection to the world's press? Shopping, naturally. Karl Lagerfeld was spotted at Colette Friday afternoon checking out the whimsical offerings. And boy did he make out like a bandit, leaving with two massive bags full of merchandise, including Junya Watanabe jackets and two limited-edition Goyard bow tie cases designed with Alexis Mabille, priced at 2,785 Euros apiece. His bodyguard/personal secretary, Sebastien Jondeau, didn't do too badly either, nabbing a black Quai de Valmy cardigan sweater trimmed in leather that he wore straight out of the store, courtesy of his oh-so-generous boss.
