im the opposite. I used to dislike her...mainly due to her runway walk & that growl look on her face. but once she started working with VS & doing more in-depth interviews (as opposed to those backstage fashion show interviews) her personality shine through & I can see why VS likes her & wanted her as a spokeswoman. body-wise she may not fit the VS aesthetic but I think she has managed to pull it off a lot better than even some of the current other angels *coughLilycough* when it comes to being sexy & sensual.

Karlie has always impressed me in her editorial work, but it's really only in the last 2 years that I've become a real fan. i just think she's blossomed into such a stunning and powerful woman. she's grown so much. she looks more beautiful than ever and she's shining. she's a great example of being healthy and fit and professional.

i completely disagree with you, LoveMyBoots, in terms of Karlie's "staying ability". i think she'll be around for many years to come and will eventually be seen as a legitimate American model icon.

I was just thinking today how happy I am to see her on pages like People.com and getting more and more famous and known to people outside the fashion industry. I am tired of looking at celebrities such Miley and other young stars. Karlie is extremely hard working and while others may be too, she still has way more class than others. Plus the publicity brings Karlie more new work.

Am I missing something? Why should she stop hanging out with Taylor? What is there to "get" about their friendship? They're both extremely nice, talented in their respective fields, and hardworking young women who obviously get along--hence their friendship. There's nothing else to it.

Who would you rather her hang out with? Only other models? Someone ~*~*edgy*~*~ like Miley (nothing against Miley)? I don't think any of us would like it if someone who did not know us personally came out of nowhere and tried to tell us who to be friends with. It's really idiotic to complain about who Karlie is friends with especially when said friend is at least a good role model.

Why on earth would you care in the slightest whom Karlie hangs out with? I could understand if she were constantly spending time with someone with drug problems or a history of bad press or some other kind of terribly negative thing. But Taylor Swift?? Taylor Swift who is pretty much the most unsullied, respectable, clean-living, successful, sweet, global superstar of the moment? Yeah ... definitely shouldn't hang out with her!

Well, I was mostly teasing, but I just think of Karlie as so mature and sophisticated and Taylor as well...more childish. I'm not exactly losing sleep over it, but I just prefer seeing pics of Karlie with say, Jourdan Dunn or her cutie pie boyfriend. Sorry to offend Swift fans.
