I hope no one ever goes into a salon and demands 'the Karlie'. With regards to her success, I don't find her beautiful at all, not even by HF standards, but she's an excellent model. She's kind of like Raquel or MCB who are not very beautiful but who have fantastic modeling abilities. They are versatile and emote well. You can have a more traditional beauty, but if she can't model well then she's not going to last. Karlie has modeling talent and that's the most important thing -- way more important than looks IMO.

Yeah, I think it's going to actually look pretty in the long run, you can tell right now it's still hard to manage as she just cut it.

She complains about her thin, uninteresting hair but I actually loved it, esp. when she first started out and hadn't attempted to go "bombshell" and was just a cool-looking model with bed hair. Very Angela Lindvall in the late 90s.

Anyway, a change like this is important if you want to keep exploring your career in modeling. I don't see anything Jane Birkin about it right now though.. maybe she'll mold the bangs that way.

People who consume Vogue as it is was really a forward, 100% fashion magazine tend to refer to Karlie a lot so I can actually see people asking for Karlie's haircut..
