Ugh, I'm so bored with celebrities getting divorced.

There have been so many divorces (pretty much all of Hollywood) that I hardly believe Kate and Chris were having marriage trouble. Just like Carmen and whats-his-name.....it seems like such a huge fad to get divorced (mayhap for publicity orwhatever) that I don't even feel sorry for them anymore.

It all just seems so planned.

she's ok with infidelity, that's a better woman than me that's for sure. i'd cut his ****s off before i was ok with infidelity. not to be crude. but i think that can be so demoralizing to feel someone is screwing around when they're on the road. if i started getting involved with other people, i'd probably loose my attention for my marriage. but who knows?

I totally saw this coming....I only say this because she did a candid
interview couple of years ago with one of the Entertainment Tonight
people and she was talking about her marriage to Chris and her whole
thought on infidelity.......she seemed to be very accepting of it.
However I don't bellieve infidelity is involved in their matter of splitting.

Well then that's her fault for going on TV and saying she was fine with him sleeping around. I mean if she gave him the ok to do it, what did she expect?

"She was just on The View, saying how great their marriage is... so yeah, I'm a bit surprised..."

Oh they all pretend everything is fine and they are very, very happy while they are promoting a movie because they don't want to have to answer any tricky questions about what went wrong in the marriage etc. They pretend everything is fine and then they second that the movie promo is done, they split. It's typical in Hollywood break-ups. Even funnier when they are like, oh yeah we actually split months ago and the whole time they were pretending to be together.

I always thought Kate was a complete flake like her mother and Chris was a sleezy guy who probably hasn't quit using drugs or groupies. Kate seems the type to let Chris walk all over her because that was she comes across as strong and empowered by being all indepedant when really she comes across as an idiotic. She was talking in Allure about having to have sex with your hubby even if you don't want to, just close your eyes and go along with it kind of thing. You know, just as long as you keep your man happy!!! Obviously didn't work in her case.

I think the same thing kind of happened here as did with Jess & Nick. Kate has really come into her own and I dunno any man who isn't secure enough with himself can deal with that being away so often.

I remember seeing her interviewed on Access Hollywood while she was promoting The Skeleton Key and somehow she started spouting off about how it would be ok if Chris screwed around as long as she didn't know about it. An out of sight, out of mind thing.

At the time I figured it meant the 2 of them had a somewhat open marriage and just in case the tabs got wind of something she was trying to cut to them off by proclaiming she'd be fine with Chris screwing around with otehr women.

Like I said, I think she was trying to come across as all cool and free love and marriage shouldn't restrict you from doing what you want but she just sounded like an idiot who was making excuses for her hubby cheating.
