Hello, I'm considering cutting off all my hair and although I've searched far and low on TFS for pictures of the kind of hair I'm looking for, I've so far been unsuccessful. At first I really loved Victoria Beckham's graduated bob, but, of course, I grew tired of it before I'd even managed to cut it (what with the millions of replicas around at the moment). Now I'm really feeling Kate Moss's short blonde crop back in...was it 2001?

The only pictures of this hairdo I've found is on the runway...can't even remember which one, so the pictures I'm talking about are attached...

If anyone can assist me as to finding more pictures of this particular haircut, or otherwise, any other similar ones given the kind of style I'm looking for, I'd be eternally grateful.

Thank you in advance, x

Yes! That's exactly what I meant. Thank you very much, x

Love that cut, but I fear it only looks that good because its platinum blonde and it is Kate. I actually had my hair cut like that a year ago.

love that hair cut but it really does only work on the prettiest, blondest people. that's me out.

I know, the cut is amazing and I think now I'm dead set on having it done. Thing is, my hair is neither that thin, nor is it blonde, so now I'm having doubts about what to do...

Do you honestly reckon that it wouldnt work so well on someone with very dark (almost black) hair?

i have the same question!!!! i've been going through star style threads, because i had the irina fringe and it's too trendy now, so im chopping it all off. i have medium to dark brown hair and it is fine. i keep going back and forth between kirsten dunst's bob and her pixie cut, maggie gillenhal, and wynona ryder.....but kate's is kinda in between....my appointment is at 1:30 tomorrow and i need some serious help deciding!!!

black can look equally as striking with it. think charlize theron in aeon flux! but you just need them bones like those girls to make it look good.

Im getting a haircut today, and im considering doing this haircut....

BUT i don´t have kates amazing face, i have a heart shaped face, round-ish...black hair....

Should i or shouldnt i do it??!?

Any advice in simular haircuts better suited for rounder faces are appriciated!
Thanks!

love it on kate...

reminds me of kate lanphear's hair..

i have to agree about the prettiness of the women..and the blonde factor too..
i havent seen it look so striking without these two elements..
but i definitely think its still worth a shot...hair grows...be brave...it might look fabulous..

especially if you're confident...

This thread is old

LaBelloBello, what skin tone do you have and what colour are your eyebrows?

If you have black eyebrows and white blond hair it doesn't look good...unless you lighten them but it only last for a few days...I admit it wouldn't be an easy look to pull off...if you have a heart shaped face you might look wider...but go for it if your really curious...sometimes a change is good...sometimes

But I  Kate's platnium bob thing hair...it was one of her best hairstyles...

This kinda reminds me of Anja's hair. But hers is a little smoother and this is more razored edges.

love this cut...it's the one I plan on getting next, only I want the back with a razored nape

DO IT!!! It can totally work, especially if you have a good stylist who can tune it to a rounder face. In fact, I think it would look REALLY good on a round face, as the longer front pieces can give the illusion of an angular jaw. Victoria Beckham did something similar, and while her face wasn't round, her face looked too jagged and angular with this kind of cut...I guess to some, it was a good look for her, but it looked quite harsh as she was missing some softness in the face. Now if she had a rounder face, I think it would have been better off. It can also work for a heart-shaped face (see Rihanna).

I have a round face, and I've done everything to my hair...I had my hair cut similar to this a month ago, and it looked really chic. I just want to step it up a notch the next time I go to the stylist and make it more edgy by getting the nape razed! :flower:

Thanks for all the advice!:flower:

But in the end i chose to go safe, and did something like this: (source:dailymail.co.uk)

It's the best hairstyle she's ever had! It looks great especially in contrast with the dark eyebrows.

i've been searching for pix of kate with that hair do, and no luck....i think i saw some pictures of her with that hairdo on the runways...maybe Gucci?? i dunno...
any idea where i could find pix of her on the runways with that hairdo??
TIA

I like her more with a bit longer hair... for example Winnona is a winner with short hair but Kate looks so awesome with kind of long hippiesque long one... But well thats my opinion.
the good thing of short it... its how easy its get it ready the bad thing is if your an slow grower is so hard get back a long one... i went from one side to another... and well... i think now i do appreciate more my pics with short hair that when i actually had it hahah
