I know what you mean. Originally, I thought she was pushed into the public. I like her look but thought it wasn't special enough to be in magazines. I've changed that thought pattern.

She is one of the hottest supermodels in the world right now, envied for her perfect bikini body.

But even Kate Upton has her vices.

The 21-year-old was seen puffing on a cigarette while out and about with her hairstylist Bryce Scarlett in New York City on Tuesday.

The Sports Illustrated cover girl showed off her slender legs in a tiny crochet cream dress paired with flat beige sandals.

She wore her blonde hair in a simple updo and shielded her eyes with black sunglasses.

But her famous legs and cleavage stole the show in the lowcut frock as she walked alongside her longtime hairstylist.

The pair stopped mid-stroll to each light a cigarette, with Kate multi-tasking and checking her cellphone at the same time.

The pair appeared to be having a ball together as they chatted and laughed while walking the Manhattan streets.

Kate was later spotted alone, clearly amused by something on her phone as she smile while scrolling through it, holding her cigarette in her other hand.

Kate has been busy filming The Other Woman alongside Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann.

The comedy, which is directed by Nick Cassavetes, centres around a woman who realises she is not her boyfriend's primary lover.

Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann play spurned girlfriends who team up to get revenge on the guy who has been seeing a string of women as well as them.

The film is scheduled to hit U.S. theatres on April 25 next year.
