The dress is gorgeous, but I can't help thinking had she let her hair down the whole look would be so much better!
The updo is a bit too 'formal' for the dress. Which is kind of girlie and sweet.

The only negative I have with the look is that the dress kind of looks too young for her.
It seems like something Hailee Steinfeld or Elle Fanning would wear; however, Kate still manages to look beautiful.

It's easy to forget Kate is the same age as people like Diane, Marion Cotillard, Reese Witherspoon etc.
