I have to admit I don't see the similarity between Poly and Katja...the thing is all Russian pretty women have something similar in their looks that makes them look a like, and that is soft facial features and light eyes...but those two are totally different for me.
I think of Katja's recognition things as her great hair, full Lima-likeish mouth, and small nose....all the opposite to Poly...she has not as near as great hair as Katja, she has tiny lips and not straight nose....but I love both models!
Obviously I find Katja prettier, I would just love we get to see Katja as much as we have seen Poly over the years....

PS.Thanks for the pics meeks!I just adore Katja's hair!I cut mine when it was that long, and mine is also brown, but now I'm totally letting it grow out again.....
Katja's hair is just perfection!

^Very true - they look alike, but then don't. It's just that soft beauty that russian girls posses.

I have always loved both,always loved Natasha Poly from the beginning and obviously she has a huge career and is a golden girl in the industry, on her road to a fashion model Icon perhaps.

But forget high fashion, speaking in 'real life beauty' Katja has always been more my type, as a mutter of fact more of a definition of my type of beauty. I just love her so much, she is perfect imo.

I love how people have totally different perception.
I must say all the Russian girls have typical russian beauty, Volodina, Soukoupova, Poly, Lima, Katja, typical light beautiful eyes....but I can't see even if I try how Poly and Katja look so alike.
Poly's nose and Katja's are just so different that I just can't see it....the hair also can't be more different, with Katja it's so recognizable cause of the amount of her hair, while Poly has not as near great hair....the eyes also, totally different...but it's interesting indeed how some people see it differently!
What is it with Katja these days?Why is she not working, or is she?

I thnk back in the beginning say '05 when Natasha was very tanned (and we were all like omg is she tanned or is this natural) and Katja was around - they looked more like cousins.

Because Katja is half somalian (mother) she has darker skin and thick hair. But I def. found that they had a similar look during that time, because Natasha's face was more fuller like Katjas - the dark hair - the small noses, the eye shape and dark green eye color (although Natasha has hazel eyes).

Anywhom - now I do not think they look alike - but back then, when Natasha had a diff. appearance I thought they could be cousins.

Maybe if Katja was blond, and Natasha's nose was straight, but this way they're totally different to me....But good that Katja is not blond, I love brown hair and green eyes, divine!

Hm I miss that Natasha, it was the natasha that i first fell in love wth... & the pics on he second row were the first I ever saw of Katja & also fell in love with. They were like a breath of fresh Russian air.

Despite of all rumors Kate doesn't have somali ancestors, she got her unusual appearence from her russian dad and mom, who is from Kudymkar (Komi Republic, Russia). It was written at her group at one russian site called vkontakte and she's a member of this group too. so... it can't be a lie
