Sonnet Noel Whitaker (b. October 3rd 1996) and True Isabella Summer Whitaker (b. July 2nd 1998) with Forest Whitaker and Autumn (b. 1991), Keisha's daughter from a previous relationship.
I agree her daughter is really cute! What's her name btw?
5 Questions With: 'Who Are You Wearing?' Host Keisha Whitaker
'Who Are You Wearing?' -- that question echoes on every red carpet, and the answer is usually some glam designer name.
But on TLC's new show of the same name (premiering Friday, August 22 at 10PM), the 'Who' could be anyone from a housewife who likes sewing to a security guard who gave up his dream of designing when he had kids. Regular people compete to design a look for celebrity guest judges to wear to a red carpet event.
Along with the celebrity guests, host Keisha Whitaker (you might recognize her from always being impeccably dressed on husband Forest Whitaker's arm) guides four new contestants through the design process each week. Whitaker talked to AOL TV about passing along the style gene, crying (a lot!) and stalking Food Network stars.

You're known for having great red carpet style. Were you always into fashion?
You know, it's so funny because I was actually organizing the other day and I found this picture of me -- I had to have been about five and I was at the pool with my great-grandmother. I must say, I looked very fashion-y [laughs], and I always remember having very well-dressed Barbies. I've been a big fan of fashion from day one. Unfortunately I've passed it along to my girls -- after a little visit to Barney's, when your 10-year-old thinks she can fit into shoes from their shoe department, you realize it's not always a good thing to pass on. [Laughs]
So are you telling me that you've never had a fashion faux pas period of your life?![]()
Oh no, I'm definitely not telling you that. [Laughs] No, no, no -- I am not so vain. Look, I graduated from high school in 1990, which means I lived through the '80s. I definitely had my share of, "Oh my god, what was I thinking?" I had a fuchsia lipstick moment ... crazy moments where I look back and think, "I can't believe he invited me to the prom!" [Laughs]
What sets this show apart from other reality competition shows?
I think what makes our show unique is the stories -- people getting their feet wet or going back to something they always loved. We have a winner each week and they're all so different and really great designers; they were just so happy to have the opportunity to compete. And it's positive. We have designers that were eliminated in the first round who said it was just the kind of thing they needed to sort of nudge them. I mean, I cried more than once on the show.
Who are your favorite designers, well-known and up-and-coming?![]()
I love chic and classic -- Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein, Fendi, Yves Saint Laurent. But I love Phillip Lim, Zac Posen, Rory Beca. I'm a big fan of Catherine Malandrino; her pieces are feminine and sophisticated. But I'm a t-shirt and jeans girl. I'm so low maintenance in my everyday life. [Laughs] Thank god my husband's not home -- he'd be like, "I beg to differ woman!" [Laughs]
What's your favorite guilty pleasure TV show?
You're gonna really think I'm just a goofball -- I love Anderson Cooper and Nancy Grace. [Laughs] I love news shows! I also really like to watch 'Law & Order: SVU' and that show 'Snapped' on Oxygen, where the women just lose it. [Laughs] It's a show about women killers! I like the Food Network a lot -- I'm a big Giada [De Laurentiis] fan. I think I've actually stalked her at one of those gifting suites before. [Laughs] I don't think she knew I was stalking her ... hopefully.
