She does look short there, but flat boots like that always tend to make people look stumpy I was hoping to see her at Marc Jacobs last night, but whatever I'm sure she'll pick up momentum in europe

I think 5'8" is right or close enough but even though her height doesn't help I think it is more about her body type (probably treading dangerous water here) and proportion... There are shorter girls on the runway for sure but most of them (Bambi excepted) are longer limbed and look taller...

I think Vitamine has the right of it though... she's just not much of a runway girl... but she is SOO strong in print...

I think she has the potential to look fierce on the runway, but we just keep seeing her in the same shows that all kind of carry this same "look" every season. Casting directors just need to get over her "body type" and book her so she can show a more versatile side. She is amazing in print, and I can most def see her as being amazing on the runway too.

^I totally agree with you, I think she looks great on the runway we need versatility there as much as editorials. Bummed she didnt do Marc but hopefully she'll be at Prada and Miu Miu againAlso love her "Love" shot she really is a dream on camera

2 minor shows so far ... and it's only NYFW, who is normally the place where new models do the most shows ... I'm worried for London, Milan and especially Paris, because we all know that in Paris you HAD TO have the "perfect" model body ...

I think Kelly still has so much potential and room to grow. I mean, she is still young, she may not be that tall, but her face is so different and unique. Plus, she's a very sweet girl.

I wouldn't call her a "one hit wonder" at all. I think this is just the start for her. The other girls who did the Prada campaign aren't "overly" famous now either. I don't see Antonia, Julia, or Dorte scoring any huge campaigns. Just takes time

I hope Paris brings more and hopefully this season she will go to Milan!

Q: What do you do to stay so slender?
KELLY MITTENDDORF: Eat right (I do lean proteins and veggies for lunch and dinner and more protein (SURPRISE) and fruits for breakfast and two snacks throughout the day) and run, walk, jump rope, do jumping jacks-anything active. Don’t drive yourself super crazy about eating, if you want cookie dough have a table spoon at the end of the day. Lots of water!
