How did you get into modelling?
I was scouted at when I was 13 years old at the Chinese Lantern Festival of all places! I started modelling straight away. My first shoot was for NO magazine and my first test was with David Shields. It all started there.


What’s the best modelling job you’ve done so far?
I worked on a music video – that was pretty fun.

If you weren’t modelling, what would you be doing?
I’m not modelling full time right now but I would love to. I love modelling. I went to Epsom Girls Grammar but have now moved to Kristen on the North Shore because they offer IB which is good for if I want to go overseas and if I fail at modelling at least I’ll be kind of smart! But I guess if I wasn’t going to model I think I’d like to be a booker – something in the industry.

Where’s your dream modelling destination?
I am obsessed with New York City!

What about your dream modelling job?
Walking the Victoria’s Secret show.

What’s your favourite thing about modelling? And least favourite thing?
I love to meet new people, different people. Also, it’s not boring at all. It’s fun to transform into someone else infront of the camera. I can’t even think of anything I don’t like about modelling! Seriously! I’m not just saying that. I guess one thing is I have really bad sense of direction so finding locations can be tricky.

What about the rejection? Is that not hard?
I think with modelling, you have to really, really like it. It doesn’t bother me too much. I have the mindset that it’s not that they don’t want you – it’s that they want someone else.

Is there anything you wouldn’t do for modelling?
I wouldn’t do nudity. And I don’t think I’d cut my hair short – I’ve had short hair before and it’s bad!

What’s something people wouldn’t necessarily know about you?
I used to live in Fiji. I was home-schooled there for a while.

Do you have a favourite colour?
Purple.

Favourite models?
Tia Woods and Adriana Lima.

Favourite food?
A Japanese bento box. It’s got variety.

What’s the last thing you bought?
This Zara blazer from Canada.
