am i sick? because i think that pink puff sleeve sweater with the matching shorts and hat is ADORABLE and want it right now.... i am seduced by the pure cuteness of it

You're not the only one...

The venue is beautiful.

It's over-embellished as usual, but really cute this time. He isn't taking it too seriously, and that's a welcomed alternative from the sombre looks this season. I like the mix of oriental prints with plaid and camouflage, like a younger Dries van Noten, the sort of looks I would expect from the smaller brands like Cacharel which have been disappointing. It is not directional but quite desirable, if it isn't priced like high fashion.

I must say that I adore the outfit on the Piva (yes she is THE PIVA ), and that made me just love the collection. It's such a burst of colour in such a monochromatic fashion week. McQueen is still the epitome of BRILLIANCE (and in my opinion the best show of Paris, Milan, and NYC this season thus far), but this is just gorgeous: (gettyimages)!

Thank you.:flower:
I'm pleasantly surprised because Kenzo usually looks much older.^_^

I don't know what to say first. It's not bad. The wool poncho-ish things in the first post really threw me off. I like the petal-like effect of some of the clothing, but it should be either that or the fabrics. Both can't be there at the same time.

I think the experimentation with prints is quite fun and commendable. Sure, it doesn't work everytime (the camo is rancid!) but most of it actually is lovely. The Cath Kidston cabbage patch style florals are gorgeous and I think could add a different dimension of embellishment to this years fall wardrobe. Those last three black and white looks are quite amazing too - gorgeous shapes.

Wow, I'm speechless. But from the picture of the end of the show it seems like that pink fuzzy piece would look completely out of place!

agreed, but don't be so sure on Kenzo being non-directional :ninja: .

as far as the collection goes, there are some very cute pieces around
i find Maras as dramatic but less 'inventive' than usual, still in my book, he remains one of the 'rising' designers of the season.

i love the shape on the skirts in the beginning...that little fold up on the bottom - that's amazing!

i really love this collection as a whole..the prints are beautiful. it gets a bit too tacky for me towards the end, but some of my favorite ensembles i've seen so far this season are in this collection.

Lena, I love the oriental theme purely from the pleasure point of view, but is that directional? Would love to hear your opinion.

i like some of the shapes here and the prints on the fluffy wool :woot:
but i'm really interested in the unusual details, like the half-circle thing across emina cummulaj's stomach in post 31
i wonder where he got that idea! also, it's like the outfit is made of metal.
