The 24-year-old Slovakian beauty has worked with the likes of Steven Meisel and Juergen Teller, and most recently walked in couture shows for Chanel and Alaïa. She’s amazed by how much she enjoys being swept up in fashion but admits she ‘‘never wanted to be boxed into the category of ‘the model.’ ’’ It’s her studies in sociology and politics, she insists, that have always taken priority. A 2011 graduate of Goldsmiths College, in London, Rajzak still craves intellectual pursuits and hopes to return for graduate school.
HER MUST-HAVES
Candy, candy and more candy; chocolate-coated Brazil nuts from the campus store; and a good notebook that fits in my pocket, for writing down suddenly occurring ideas.
WHAT’S FOR DINNER?
The pop-up “meat wagon” around campus is a must! But also, I live in a Caribbean neighborhood in southeast London, where there are fishmongers, good butchers and cheap vegetable and fruit sellers all within a 10-minute walking distance.
OHM AT HOME
I’m not a fan of gyms — I like my yoga at home, and digging in the garden.
KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON
The world will not collapse if you get a low grade in something you’re not really interested in. Just do well in subjects you’re really passionate about.
