*hahaha* I loved that part in SPIN magazine where they talk about Taylor/Kanye thing. It is so hilarious that Nathan yelled him fu*k you.

Kings of Leon fashion collaboration

This may be old news, but here's a recent article on it from: telegraph.co.uk.com
Pretty cool!

You love the sound of them and now you can look like them, as the rock band’s fashion range launches in London.

The first fashion collection by the American rock ‘n’ rollers, Kings of Leon, whose Grammy-winning single, "Sex on Fire", was recently voted the 2009 ‘song of the year’ by iTunes users in the UK, will go on sale in London this month (January 2010).

The limited edition, 12-piece collection is a result of a collaboration between the band and the Paris-based, multimedia creative agency, Surface To Air.

Called “S2A x KOL”, the collection will be sold exclusively at The Shop at Bluebird, the must-go-see lifestyle destination on London’s King’s Road, in Chelsea.

The collection, priced between £63 and £750, replicates the iconic style image of the three Followill brothers, Caleb, Nathan, Jared, and their cousin, Matthew Followill, from bandana right down to boot-heel.

The band’s signature bandana, in a red-and-black check and paisley print, kick-starts the collection at £63. The top of the range item is a black leather jacket, priced at £720. Also included are plaid ‘woodsman’ shirts, skinny jeans, plaited leather belts, silver chain jewellery, black Fedoras and, even, guitar straps.

Formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1999, Kings of Leon have an alternative rock ‘n’ roll sound which touches on garage rock revival and southern rock and blues. 2009 was a standout year for the band, which won its first Grammy Award for the 2008 single, "Sex on Fire"; two Brit awards for Best International Group and Best International Album; and played the Reading and Leeds festivals.

Kings of Leon have received four nominations for the 2010 Grammy Awards for the single, “Use Somebody”. The Grammys will be held in Los Angeles on January 31st.

Surface To Air has previously collaborated on fashion collections with the electropop duo, Justice, and the British graffiti artist, Banksy.

Following the launch of its KOL ‘marriage’ this month, it will be working on a major new collection with an iconic female music star, to be launched in September.

I think it was posted already but  at "signature bandana". Really?

I've been roaming around, I was looking down at all I see
Painted faces fill the places I can't reach
You know that I could use somebody
You know that I could use somebody...:mowhawk:

I love KOL almost as much as I love anything else in this world (kinda sad. I know!) and I have for years, but I really really hate when they do stuff like this. :ermm: I don't know maybe it's just me...

Nah, it's not just you. We've been winging about it a couple of pages back.

^^ Good to know I'm not the only one ^_^ Now what do we think of the reported Leona Lewis duet? I suppose it could be kind of interesting hearing those two totally different voices together but it could also be awful. I give it a thumbs down. Less collaborating Caleb and more YYM style rock please!

Someone must have put them up to it. Can't imagine they would come up with this on their own. Either that or they had a few, and thought it was a brilliant idea.

I will believe this Leona Lewis bulls*** when I hear recordings. Until then, it's all useless gossip to me.

The articles are all about Leona and Robbie Williams collaborating, and then they tack this on at the end of every story on the topic. Lots of shady sources reporting the story. This one from showbizspy.com

Leona has also reportedly been in touch with Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill about a one-off track after learning the Sex on Fire rockers had been enjoying her music.

“The collaboration came about through Leona herself. Caleb and the guys are huge fans,” the source said.

He's the only one who tweets (although Matt has Twitter too, but he NEVER updates). My only source for any stories about the boys. :D
