There is an interesting article in the newest Finnish lifestyle magazine called IMAGE. The main focus is in Brand model management, which is the mother agency of Kirsi and few other Finnish talents. There are some rather nice shots with Kirsi and some of the younger girls as well, but I think that the most interesting part of the article is an interview with Toni Korpineva, who is the CEO for Brand model management.

Mr Korpineva introduces parts of their past together with Kirsi and how he believes Kirsi will become even more popular in the near future after ending her high school. He also thinks that Kirsi is very strong at the moment, but like all of us she has also a weakness. That is her shoesize which is at the moment 42 EUR and it's rather big, but he also reminds that Kirsi is over 180cm tall so it's natural that she has big feet too.

Could her shoesize really be a problem? A size 42 seems very normal for a girl that height, it could be way worse (not everybody can be Carmen Kass). All the very tall models must be in the same situation. Unless of course they think she's still growing up. I can't imagine her having trouble in her career because she's the kind of model who manages to look beautiful in a zebra dress lol.

I'm somewhat disappointed by her show list. I had expected her to do much much better. Sure, most of the shows she walked were major ones, but she wasn't at Chanel or Prada. And no big shows in Milan where I thought she'd kill it! After all the amazing editorials, cover and the Balenciaga campaign this is a bit of a letdown.

Here are the two shots from Finnish IMAGE 9/2010. Sorry about the crappy quality.
I think she looks very good in both of them, in the second shot you can see some other girls besides Kirsi from Brand model management.

I have no idea why her shoe size EUR 42 is too big, but maybe it's like the life in modelling world is. Everyone wants to see the perfect measurements in every way and when in the end most of us are imperfect so then you start to stare at your weak points. I know even many models with the same shoe size and it's no problem for them.

I actually doubt her shoe size is 42, they're probably bigger than that. I noticed she wore mostly sandals in the shows this season and someone once pointed out her shoe size was a problem when getting booked for shows. At 1.88m her shoe size could easily be a 45 or something, I think

for those who wondering why she's not doing so many shows, Kirsi told me yesterday that her shoesize is 42,5 and the shows that she's doing are mostley in shoes 40 or 41 .... and as most of us know that not every designer have big shoes!
