It doesn't help that she's wearing wayfarers.

I don't think her style is "funky" enough to be wearing such a hat. She just ends up looking more costumey than quirky/ironic. Kirsten works a Sofia Coppola-tasteful-cool vibe--and a hat like that isn't part of that vibe.

i actually kind of hate that hat...

reminds me of what duckie wore in pretty in pink..... if i remember correctly

or maybe it just seems so 80s and contrived to me for some reason
