Exactly. I sometimes get the impression that some TFS posters are just as committed to the one-black-girl-for-PC-purposes quota as the companies' PR departments are. Us black girls actually can stand next to each other without the world imploding, so hiring one should not have to mean 'replacing' another woman of color. But, no, of course Lais should replace another woman of color, since dark-skinned women are just sooooo interchangeable

My apologies, I worded that incorrectly. I really just don't like that specific model, so that's why I said I would be happy if Lais replaced her, because I'd rather not see her work for VS (not because there is only room for one black angel). However, if Emanuela and Lais were working together for VS, I would have NO problem with that! It's just that one model.

Shay’s head dress is a pretty good indicator of the air temperature. Lais Ribeiro didn’t have that luxury but in great professional form she looked terrific on camera.

Just spotted Lais a couple of hours ago walking down Paddington. She was quite shocked I could recognise her.She told me she has a shoot here in London and then shes flying out to Paris for some go-sees. She was really sweet and she told me she reads her thread often.
