Yay! She's with Ford in NY. Hopefully she'll do some major league walking come September! I think this season is going to be very very big for girls who might not have gotten a chance in previous seasons - I'm not going to launch into a big diversity in fashion spiel and pull things off topic but I have my fingers crossed for Lakshmi and several others.

She looks amazing at Gaultier as per usual. She's just got that at.ti.tude.

My friends, this is only. the. beginning.

And I want to echo deerlike's sentiment of pride because that is exactly what I feel right now. Lakshmi is going places and she deserves it - she's an exceptional beauty and an exceptional model. I really feel like this is going to lead to incredible things. How stunning would she look on the cover of Numero? Or walking the catwalk for Rodarte or Lanvin? I'm convinced she can do anything and I hope she will get the chance to prove me right.

Plus I bet certain casting directors are kicking themselves now!
