Apart from the fact that she's done nudity before (i can only recall one example, though), it seems strange that her presence in the calendar would be up to her..i mean, what would be the point of going to a casting and then refusing the job!? I am not an expert, so i could have misunderstood the whole situation.

Well I dont really think you go for castings for a Pirelli calender considering all the girls who do it are usually are super famous, so I guess they have already made a list of girls they want and find out availability etc and whoever concerned must have contacted Lakshmi's agency and then its really up to her I guess in a way. As for the nudes yes I agree she has done some but this is a much bigger deal and Worldwide so maybe thats why. Lets all hope that she did accept the Job.
