Lakshmi was never up for Estee though. Not that I wouldn't love her getting a contract with them at some point in the future.

She was however in the running for a Maybelline contract according to rumor, the brand was looking to expand into India and get a face to represent that market, but somehow it never came together and Lisalla wound up being their latest face.

Another twist! Interesting though, I hadn't heard anything about Revlon it would be interesting for them though since their spokeswomen have been mainly actresses for the past few years, but it makes sense that she would turn it down if she had to represent something she wasn't comfortable with. She seems like the sort to place personal values ahead of money and that is a good thing. Hopefully she'll be offered something else very soon, she is too dynamic to not have a major longterm contract.
