What's Copping thinking? This is so uneventful. The Lanvin budget for RTW must be MINISCULE. The house has the WORST owners ever - they need to sell it.

The clothes hmm… there’s some promise here and there but he lacks vision. and to think he was apart of the LV X Marc Jacobs era and still produce mediocre clothes 😭😭😭

Some really beautifully made clothes especially the grey velvet dress, sequin flapper dress, and the slim tailoring but all hidden under hideous prints and colors and absolutely hopeless creative direction. He's kind of wasting everyone's time here, especially since there are a bunch of competent CD's who could use his steady hand as studio director.

I will be shopping the inevitable liquidation sale.

I don't understand the Balenciaga hats from NG and the fugly prints from Demna.

Last season was quite good and for once it made sense as a cod-ed show.

Where's Joe McKenna? The casting is very weak here, where are all the top show girls? I don't expect Mona but last season they had Libby Bennet. Chloe Oh and Hanne Gaby a mixture of top 50 models and icons.

The spring show was very good wtf is this , it looks so dated and cheap lol. If there was more emphasis on dresses like below with better fabrics , with better make up and casting and sans those ridiculous hats and those hideous shift dresses this had potential. Elbaz and Jeanne Lanvin must be rolling in their graves to see what Lanvin has become , this house deserves so much better. Are there budget cuts the fabrics are very cheap looking.

the budget must've been super low. Copping is capable but once can't do much if there's little wiggle room - you have to do the bare minimum then!

Maybe Adrian from Moschino should join him instead of joining Dior. He needs a bit of fun…The kind of fun that there when he was at Nina Ricci. You know clothes that makes you smile and then, spend!

The shoes and bags are ok I have very like corporate/Ambassadors wives thing about it.

Back in the days, around2006/2008 there were brands like Paule Ka, Guy Laroche, Céline which were brands of Ambassadors wives and the joke was that Air France Magazine was their magazine so those brands were heavily featured in that magazine. The brands weren’t hot enough for the fashion and not ringard enough for the women of a certain status to still buy into them.

Celine eventually escaped that lane but Guy Laroche and Paule Ka didn’t so….Where are they today!?
I feel like Lanvin is taking the Guy Laroche/Paule Ka route slowly. It was already there after Bouchra Jarrar but the semi miracle happened with Bruno. And now it’s going back there.

So they needs to think what to make of it. If it’s selling, OK but what is it about?
