So when IKRAM was saying that they would get no shipment, there was no wait list they did not know what they were taking about or was that a cheap trick to get me to buy the red ones they had there at the time?

They may not have known when they are getting the shipment, but they had to have known there was a list since I was on it for about a month or so. No sure why they told you they didn't

it's not the most flattering style, IMO, but the shoes themselves are so sculptural and modern, and of the moment-- sometimes one has to sacrifice a bit for style

I just called back and the SA said yes. She said I'm supposed to be getting them tommorow so we'll see if I actually got those. If not I may still like them, or I could always eBay them since they're pretty hot right now.

Urgh I think I want the satin ones more. I already have the satin platform ones from last summer though and I dont have any red shoes. Would 2 pairs of black satin platform pumps be too much? Maybe I should get the satin along with the red patent instead of the gucci or prada shoes?

No no no, stick with the red open-toed ones!!

And yeah, two black satin pumps would be too much. I dont even think the Lanvin ones are attracive. The heel is best as stacked wood, satin just looks.....weird.

Guessgirl-let me know which ones your receive. I was there this morning and again, they told me that the sandals were the pair they got. Those and the green satins.

I like the green satin heels. They have almost glass-like teal heels.

I can't wait to get home and see if I got the sandals or the pumps, I was specifically told that these dont have an ankle strap but iluvfashion was told they didn't get the open toe pumps in. Weird... Whatever it is I just hope I love it!

I like the open toe pumps better than the sandals. The cone heels attract all the attention.
I also like the heels on those sating pumps

i'm very disappointed with these commercial versions. the heel on those red opentoe pumps from ebay that guessgirl posted look terrible to me. the heel is totally wrong!! it's supposed to taper to a very thin point (like the black satin ones from ebay in the same post)... it loosk so dumpy!

i really hope those aren't the ones you receive, gg.

Brian, I know exactly what you mean about the heel, I noticed that too. I got mine in today and iluvfashion was right that they are the ankle strap sandals. The good thing is that the heel tapers down to a point unlike the pumps, I think it's becuase the pumps have a circular cone while the sandls and the satin pumps is a semi-circle heel.

They definatly aren't the runway version, but they're not bad either. I'm not sure if I'll be keeping them yet, I have a horrible headache now and I'm going right to bed, but I'll post a picture later on and you guys can let me know if I should keep them
