I'm so shocked he doesn't have a forum! - even though he isn't a fashion photographer. I've been collecting Larry Clark photography since I was in middle school. He is truly amazing. (He's also been my avatar since I joined TFS years ago :blush:)

I never new he was a photographer as well as a movie maker. I've seen some of his movies , Kids has to be my favorite but most of the times his movies make me uncomfortable lol I can't decide if I like him or not.
 
Isn't the back story that he was friends with a lot of the people he photographed? (thus caught up in a bad crowd).

I remember seeing a photo of his where a pregnant woman was shooting up :cry: Hard to look at but very powerful.
 
Yeah the book Tulsa follows his life in a Nan Goldin style , by that I mean it documents his life and his friends and the people around him.

Some of his work confuses me though, there is one book that is just pictures of a couple and well...not sure I can type it !
