But American Gigolo actress Lauren Hutton proves she still has what it takes to be a model.
The 66-year-old star, best known for her role alongside Richard Gere in the 1980 thriller, looked in fantastic shape as she hit the beach in the Caribbean.
Clad in a shirted dress, Lauren looked confident taking strides across the sand in St Barts where she was doing a fashion shoot for H&M.
With her long legs on show, the Hollywood star proved she still has a figure that would make a woman 30 years her junior green with envy.
Renowned French fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier was on location behind the lens taking the shots.
However, not even Lauren could resist capturing the stunning beach views and at one point she was seen snapping away with her own camera.
Lauren, who played a sexually frustrated wife seduced by Gere in American Gigolo, is now best known for her modelling work.
With her famous gap-toothed smile, she is one of the first supermodels who has appeared on countless magazine covers.
In 1968 she was the cover star of both French and Italian Vogue, and then again for the Italian edition in 1993.
At the age of 61, she posed nude for American publication Big magazine, saying: 'I want them (women) not to be ashamed of who they are when they're in bed.'
Earlier this month she was announced as a guest judge on U.S. show Project Runway. She appeared in the second week of the reality design competition.
'We were so lucky to have Lauren Hutton as a guest judge,' executive producer Jane Cha said at the time.
'She was knowledgeable, feisty and is obviously an icon of the modelling and fashion industry in general.'
Lauren followed in the high heels of previous celebrity guest judges including Nicole Richie, Christina Aguilera, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Bilson and Eva Longoria Parker.
