i'm a dancer, so i've been wearing footless tights for years... it's really convienent to slip a skirt on over them and then go out in between dance classes. black is always the classic color that we are required to wear, but at some dance studio's they are wearing neon footless tights, maybe that will be next to come in?
also i remember when relatives from sweden visited last fall one girl wore ballet flats with two pairs of footless tights and a skirt. the first pair of tights was like a purplish color and the second on top was like a blue fishnet. it looked kinda cute, not that it's necessarily what i would wear.

^ Deep purple is very pretty, but I'd rather have deep purple tights, not footless ones.

Where can I find cheap leggings in stores or online? Im looking for cropped black ones like Sienna's & I would also love some brighter colors like those new Marc Jacobs ones. That baby blue color is so pretty. I dont want the ones that are just basically footless tights (you know thin opaque hose) or shiny ones. I want the real cotton leggings. The MJs are a perfect example of what I want.

arg! so frusterated right now. so i'm just looking for a simple pair of leggings that hit right at the point where top of your calf hits your knee, that area of indent. but i can't find a pair and i need to actually see them, cause i have long legs so i wanna make sure that they're long enough. i live in the u.s., in new jersey. can't make a city trip though cause parents aren't to keen on the train any ideas of where to go?

Oh Preppy I feel your frustration. Thats exactly what Im looking for now & cant find. I might just have to buy a long pair & have them shortened to that length. I dont have the problem of being tall... Im actually pretty short so Id probably need to shorten them anyways to get the exact length. I dont get why its sooooooooo hard to find leggings.

I just bought a pair of cropped leggings for $4.99!! I got them in the girls department so they were the perfect length & cheaper! Happy happy.

Yes, just make sure they are cotton/lyrca ones, I think they are the thickest.

in sweden this already was a trend last summer, skirt, 3/4 black leggings and ballet flats.. every one wore it...

I'm a guy, and I wore them with cutoffs the other night...
but I forgot them at my boytoys house the next day...
