oh god the other day i saw three girls (friends) on the street walking side by side, the three were wearing them american apparel leggings, each in a differnet color!! at -10degree celcius outside

i guess it wasnt that much that it was freezing cold outside but the fact that they each had the same leggings but in a different color!! like you know when you are 12 and you call up your girl friends asking what theyre wearing the following day only so you cango to school and wear matching outfits.,

American Apparel has mid lenght ones and longer ones.. In all colors of the rainbow... and even more....

I am pretty sure really long leggings in washed out shades of blue, very soft peachy pink, or neon yellow will be very very trendy next season.

I remember leggings quite well. I used to wear them in grade school. Gosh, that was ages ago. I haven't seen them becoming a trend much in my area. Then, again, it is not so much of a "trendy" town.

I love tights, and I refuse to let the fact that they've been adopted by fashion victims dictate whether or not I will wear them. I think that, when worn properly (sans denim mini and off the shoulder sweat top) they can still be unique and cute.

Leggings are okay, when not take seriously. But now they're being considered trendy, it's going to be a turn off, because people get pretentious about it.

It is getting popular though....and when certain..ahem...celebrities wear it that's when you know it's a bad idea.
