Just like anything else, I think you can wear leggings regardless of whether they're 'trendy.' They can be stylish, yes, but they're really practical sometimes as well. It all comes down to your personal style.
vanilla- those are not leggings...
those are crochet tights...
legging have no feet..
are you wanting to cut them in to leggings?...
i think it does look best on slim legs, yes...but if you stick to black then it's generally easier...
opaque tights can all be cut...no problem..
sheer hose will probably run if you cut them though...
and anything woven or crochet may not hold its shape, it depends on the weave...
Finding tights online: hottopic.com, mytights.com, pantyhosestockingshosiery.com, shapings.com, barenecessities.com, sockdreams.com to name a few. just do a search.
I'm into wearing leggings in shades of grey, cream and cornflower blue...... the black ones are more all-purpose.
I just can't get over how many people in London are wearing black leggings just by themselves - I know there's no chance in hell I'd be able to pull them off
In my opinion its the person wearing them that makes them look good or not. It comes down to their personal style and how they put them together. Take someone like Lindsay Lohan - i hate leggings on her, but then i see Milla in the post above and i adore them!
