Alicia Sounds the Horn

Looks like Alicia has won the upcoming role as grand diva Lena Horne according to Oprah who's producing the film! “We’re going to start filming,” Oprah said of her Lena Horne biopic. “And we’ve got Alicia.” So that means Janet who really wanted the role is now out. I just want to know what 'Lena Legend' has to say about Alicia!

I personally think it should be a tv-movie,hopefully a success and that Lena lives to finally see her story brought to film. There have been many setbacks and trouble in casting....mainly because Lena not only has unique taste but also looks. This could also be great for Alicia,because playing 'Dorothy' did wonders for Halle.

She was so gorgeous, i don't really like the idea of Alicia playing her though.. Lena was way prettier and I hope they don't turn the biopic into some sort of "Dreamgirl" type thing.
 
^Hysterical! I'm against using another star singer but its not my call. Plus they could've choosen Beyonce or somebody like that so...I think Alicia is a more classier choice.
