Just an absurd little tidbit about Lera that I found really interesting.

The Imagist (Wayne @ MDC) has this incredibly nostalgic post about Kirsten McMenamy and her legacy of spectacularly entertaining moments. At the end of the post he says:
TI's vote for modern model most likely to inherit Kirsten's throne ...Supreme's Lera Sheremeta. She IS your daughter now!

Really?! I understand its an opinion, but I never got the vibe from Lera that she had any of Kirsten's blunt comments and eccentric behavior in her. I kind of like this little surprise though, as McMenamy is a total badass.

:lol: that's kinda cute I think. I didn't undertstand everything about it, all what the Imagist says about her... maybe that's the limit of my english :blush: if someone can explain me ;) and maybe I don't know everything about what McMenamy did before, I don't know much about her... sounds so old to me :blush::lol:

Don't let the angelic face and the puppy purse fool you, Lera Sheremata, the green eyed Ukrainian who opened (or was it closed?) the Marc Jacobs show acted like a certified maniac at fashion week. First she got arrested for smoking in the airplane bathroom. The flight attendants caught her TWICE and then had to call the police. She was told off and released immediately. But that's just the beginning. Lera's nuttiest incident on record happened at the Prada show. We hear that Lera was set to open the show (a la Sasha P and Gemma W in the past--a very big deal) but when dressed in the first look Lera told the assistants that she didn't like it (GASP!!!!) and so they took her off.

Hahaha...wow. I'm pretty sure wow is the only thing I can say about that little report. I'll admit I've always been tempted to have a drag in the airplane bathroom, but that whole circulating air thing has stopped me. Rebel without a cause much Lera?

The Prada tidbit is insane. Purely insane. I guess the McMenamy parallel's that Wayne drafted up are a little more clear. He referenced Kristen's infamous departure from a Versace shoot with the side note of "Kids, don't try this at home." Makes a little more sense now...assuming that the rumors are all true.

Is it wrong that it all really just makes me love her more.....? :unsure: :wub:

Yes this won't stop me to love her more :heart::p and whether it's true or not (didn't see her with a cigarette :innocent:), all I can say is that she's quite nice and friendly as a person.
 
If the article is true, then I think it's the dumbest thing a girl could have done as she is just starting.. :ermm:
 
^Personally, I would take opening Prada over being on any top 10 list :lol: And assuming the truth of this situation, it will probably not work to her advantage in the future (That's what really matters in the end, isn't it?)...Only time will tell :innocent:

i think shes cool because first of all she spoke her mind even though it caused her to lose opening the Prada show, BUT that was pretty naive of her to smoke on the airplane not once but twice. there are "no smoking" signs practically everywhere on an airplane.
