All I could think about while looking at all her ads is the $$$$$$.

^ Seriously though! That, along with money from walking in shows and all the trade she gets, I wouldn't mind being Lexi right now.

weird seeing her on a cover not shot by Meisel.

....and I do not like the cover at all. Nothing against Lexi, it's Vogue Korea's aesthetic that I will NEVER get. This may as well be a Dazed and Confused cover. The editorial does nothing for me either; love Lexi though, and all this work she's been getting lately.

I don't know why whoever dyes Lexi's hair feels the need to make it bright yellow, instead of blonde.

Other than that I'm really happy for all her success lately :)

^I think it's supposed to supplement the image she has going on

I really don't get this comparison...? Care to elaborate?

Lexi has been in the industry for more than two years which is impressive considering she's not in the nepotism gang and has at least two or three blue chip campaigns per season. Lineisy is a new face so I don't think we can compare them.

I wasn't comparing them. What I mean is that Lineisy was in literally every bluechip runway show. And now Lexi is in every bluechip campaign.
Lineisy was everywhere (when it comes to runway shows) and now Lexi is everywhere (when it comes to campaigns) That's why I said she was like ~the lineisy of the campangs this season~

I dont really like her, but she looked amazing in the Givenchy show. Her look was my favorite.

Okay now I understand, it makes sense
She's perfect for Givenchy

^ And another campaign ?! That move to IMG is paying dividends. Its good to be Lexi this season.

I feel like one day she's gonna totally fade away and we are not going to hear from her again. Not that I don't like her or anything, but she's so up high with all her campaigns, shows and VI cover right now that people gonna get tired of her really soon. I hope I'm wrong because she really grown on me since her first VI cover when I couldn't stand her

That's sort of the normal trajectory for, like, 75% of models these days...

Even if her output does substantially dwindle (which is inevitable), Alex Wang will probably always support her and have a spot for her in his shows, à la Hanne Gaby. Prada always loves to have recurring faces pop back up years after they were initially used for the brand, like Sasha P and Lara and even someone like Meghan Collison. So in that sense, she's laid a pretty good foundation.

It will be interesting to see if she'll just be a model of the moment that vanishes, or if she'll be like Daria or Freja and can sort of seamlessly drop back into the fashion world long after they've peaked. I guess all we can do is speculate, but also give props to how on fire she is over two-and-a-half years into the game. Crazy to think that in that time frame we've already seen a good amount of models come and go.

That's what I was thinking. She could because she got that cool vibe, but I don't know, we'll see :P
