A few more tidbits about her upcoming jewellery line:

She's already conquered the clothing market with a New Look deal and scored a Chanel campaign, and now Lily Allen has turned her hand to designing jewellery. The singer has reportedly given her all to a collection that will include nine different ranges inspired by everything from animals to flowers, designed to appeal to fans aged 14 to 40. We're told Lily has been involved in every aspect of the line's design – to be called simply Lily Allen – and each piece will reflect her eclectic London style, with the collection arriving in stores late September. We're expecting delicate chains to be worn layered up, hoop earrings galore and maybe a few knuckledusters in homage to those pieces from Chanel's A/W '09 show she loved so much. We're meeting Lily on Monday to find out more and see the pieces for the first time, so check back to Grazia Daily for the first look...

I don't know about "conquering" the clothing market with her New Look deal (I love her, but only about four items out of that range were really worth purchasing at all even though it was obvious it was her style of clothing at that point time) but as sceptical as I am of almost any celebrity line this actually does sound interesting...

Lily Allen shows her specs appeal on high-brow dinner with artist Damien Hirst
22nd July 2009

Dining out in London last night with artist friend Damien Hirst, it seems Lily Allen had acquired a souvenir from her short-lived fling with art mogul Jay Jopling.
The style icon, 24, appeared to have found an unlikely fashion inspiration in her middle-aged ex-boyfriend.
Arriving at Scott's restaurant in Mayfair, the singer was wearing a pair of thick-rimmed rectangular glasses - the trademark look of the White Cube gallery owner, 46.

Bespectacled: Lily Allen shows off her serious new look in her thick-rimmed glasses as she joins artist pal Damien Hirst for dinner at Scott's in Mayfair last night

Signature style: Art mogul Jay Jopling is rarely seen without his thick-rimmed rectangular glasses

With her brown hair pulled back in a ponytail and wearing a black satin jacket over her tunic and leggings, it appeared Lily was going for a serious look as she discussed art and culture with Damien, 44, over dinner.
Her black tunic was so loose-fitting, Lily ended up giving photographer a flash of her lacy bra as she left the eaterie.
She brought some added 'bling' to her outfit by apparently wearing every ring she owned on her left hand.
Lily have been attempting to carve a more grown-up image recently - despite only hitting the tender age of 24 two months ago.
She said earlier this year:' I think I like much older men.
'I hang out with much older people, I go for dinners at posh places and talk about art.
'I’m meeting more interesting people who tax my brain.'
In January, Lily enjoyed a high-profile romance with Jay - estranged husband of artist Sam Taylor-Wood, after they were photographed kissing on a yacht in the Caribbean.
Lily has also struck up unlikely friendships with avid art collector Charles Saatchi and his wife Nigella Lawson in recent months.
Three weeks ago, Lily enjoyed a lunch date with Charles at Scott's - apparently the restaurant of choice for London's art scene.
Last September, Lily was spotted cuddling up to Damien at the launch of the largest exhibition of his work at Sotheby's Auction House.

Arty conversation: Lily is lead out of Scott's by old friend Damien Hirst, who has known her since she was 14

Got enough rings: Lily wear wearing seven gold rings on her left hand

The pair have been friends since Lily was 14 years old - presumably being introduced by her actor father Keith - so the controversial artist was a natural choice to interview Lily for American magazine Interview earlier this year.
In the interview, Lily discussed her love for art and revealed she had bought paintings by Paul Simonon from the Clash and Christian Marclay.
Lily's dinner date last night signalled the singer had recovered from a bout of gastroenteritis over the weekend.
The Smile star was scheduled to perform at the Benicassim festival in Spain on Saturday, but had to pull out after falling ill.
A statement from her publicist said: 'Lily has been diagnosed today as having gastroenteritis by her doctor and has been told she is not fit to fly to Spain.

Come along Lily: Damien leads the way

'She is very sorry to let fans down and hopes to be back to full strength as soon as possible.'
Lily apologised to fans at the festival, but angrily denied claims that she was a no-show by the organisers of the Les Vieilles Charrues festival in Brittany, France, insisting had never been scheduled to play there.
Writing on her Twitter page, she said: 'Wish I was at Benicassim, got a bug and been vomiting all day. Thank you to the lady who gave me a bag to vomit in at Gatwick this morning.
'This is rubbish, I am sorry for pulling out yesterday, I am ill though. I've never heard of this French festival.'

OOOH. I like her with those thick rimmed glasses. I dont normally like it when people try to pull off that look but i think they look good!

Haha, that last pic looks like an ad for Specsavers with literally everyone in glasses. She really pulls off those glasses though, such a great look - perhaps because of the dark hair? I would imagine they'd swamp her face-area if she had blonde hair.

Lol!!! I can see it now!

Theyd look gross if she had blonde hair. I love her hair darker, ive finally made my mind up!
ive decided to grow out my pixie crop and go for her cut in the "22" vid. I think it looks lovely.

I definitely prefer her dark, but she's lucky in that she can pretty much pull off every hair colour. Lucky her. Love the sound of your hair, both now and with the plans you have!

I think now seeing that editorial in HQ it's a rather good shoot bar the cover. A shame.

Lily Allen for the Chanel campaign
These are the first photos I've seen of Lily in the new Chanel campaign. I apologise that they're from Perez Hilton, and therefore scribbled with childish remarks about Lily.

Lily looks great here. Thanks for the pics. Particularly love the first pic. Perez Hilton is such a child, makes me so angry he has done so well out of being a boob.

That man has a way of ruining gorgeous shots! She looks nice in these shots and it's good to see her as the face of Chanel as opposed to what is considered conventional, predictable choices *fashionistas*
