Has anyone ever had this type of surgery, what's it like?Thankyou in advance

what about liposculture? Ever heard about it? Anyone had it done? I'm about to have it in a couple weeks and wanted to have some advice. Is that the best way to get rid of culotte de cheval?I'm going nuts with it, no workout or diet works ....

How much are you getting sucked out of you?

Surgery grosses me out.

I don't know, maybe 200 grams.
100 on each leg...but I don't know if that will solve my prob out since the doctor told me cellulite won't go away. I'm in stand by at the moment.
do you have my same problem?^_^

I'm thinking of having the same thing done? Anyone have any experiences with it?

A friend of mine had the very same problem..She had them removed and is very pleased with the results:)

Weigh the risks of surgery vs. the merits of properly addressing body fat through diet and exercise. Personally, I would not have liposuction ever. It is too dangerous IMO.

Me either. My friend's mother's friend died from a blood clot after liposuction. Scary.

Im not for using lipo as a way to get rid of fat if your overweight...But we have to remember that in lot of cases the women who has this surgery done ISNT overweight...As in my friends case they are healthy individuals whith one part of their body totally out of propotion..She couldnt loose anymore weight due to the fact that if she did her body would shred it from her already WAY to thin upper part..In a strange way her body just wouldnt part with the fat around her upper tighs...
And also, we all know that this type of surgery has its risks, dont for a minute think that those who are considering to have the prosedure doe arent aware of those risks, they dont need us to remind them.
As for her not exersizing..shes a professional high altitude climber.

i had it, when i was having my nose done...what do you want to know? i'm not really good at just babbling.

there is something new called smart lipo..i dont it can be done for people with alot of fat to remove..but they use local anestesia and is done with a laser type of thing..ive read about alot in magazines..you can go to work the next day they say!!

ELLE_ME, I don't think we were trying to remind them of the risks, just stating why we wouldn't personally have the procedure done. :)

I had it. Loved it, it s so worth it even with the pain. I'm thinking of doing it again.

Yes, Im aware of that, but I think that when your problem is of such a character that your willing to consider surgery to get rid of it Its better for them if we are supportive, my personal oppinion is that if you say you would never do such a thing you probably dont need it anyway^_^ ...I dont believe many people see surgery as an easy solution to their problems, and Im very sure that if they finally decider to have it done, they have gathered as much info on it as they possibly can..But still, to constantly be reminded of the risks puts them in a terrible position..of cause you dont want theese things to happen to you..but still it would be ever so great to be able to wear somthing else besides sweatpants...you cach my drift?

i never wanted to get it done. and everybody was wonderin why i would do it. i was an hour away from doint it and the nurses were coming to check me out, asking me why am getting anything done since my figure is so nice already, but we don t do things to please others. i did it for myself it made me 100 times more confident in myself and if i were to do it again i d do it in a heartbeat. BUT anybody who s thinking about surgery should also think about the pain that comes afterwards I was literally in bed for about a week, and had to wait a month before being able to wear a bathingsuit or anything form fitting for that matter. for the first 2 weaks i could barelly move and IT FREAKING HURT LIKE HELL.
but it s soooo worth it!

There are people who look at it as a quick fix...a friend of my Dad's had liposuction but because he had an unhealthy lifestyle he put all the weight on again.
I'm not saying I'm against it and I see what you're saying ELLE_ME but diet and exercise have to play a big part.

Yes of cause, I totally agree, most people does not take lightly on surgery.. Who would do that FGS (without mention any examples we are all aware of whats happening during a sugery!) As for the case Im refering to she has a very healthy diet and lifestyle, healthier than most people..(almost vegetarian) she NEVER eat sweets, hardly any meat..No dairys, no ****..No alcohol..We work out together several hours 6-7 days a week and we climb together..I swear I have never seen such stubborn fat pads as hers in my whole life!!
She talked about it for almost 3 years before she actually did it..and after it was healed she was able to put on a pair of jeans for the first time in her grown up life..In those cases (and im sure shes not alone) I say go for it!
