Lisa Perry S/S 2015 New York

Sixties! Art! Not a lot of stylistic surprises at Lisa Perry, where the creative juice came by way of Barnett Newman and Jackson Pollack, as seen through the Mod-ish lens of the designer’s favorite swinging decade. Perry interpreted Barnett’s famous minimalist stripes as strategic decoration, whether a panel of clear vinyl down the side of a maxi dress, or a crepe halter dress bisected with vertical and horizontal lines. Pollack’s influence came by way of an airy, layered quilted material made with splatterlike string. The less specifically Sixties, the better, so the Newman graphic lines were more powerful and modern on a crepe gown than the shift silhouettes.

It's interesting but I believe they need time to grow more both production and design.
