Livestreams F/W 11.12

it will be great if somebody posts schedule of coutoure shows. please

isn't it http://catwalklive.tv/ ? Rosalynn, you have it in your footer anyway! :D
Haha, yes, I added that after I posted, I forgot about signatures here :)

Will do my best to keep everyone up-to-date here as-and-when I learn about new live streams. Waiting for Milkmade.com to let me know their schedule for New York too, but they're definitely doing Alexander Wang's show (as will be a few sites I suspect)

facebook is also good to look like last nyfw tommy hilfiger did that and a lot of other shows in milan too

Yes, definitely - I'm on Facebook and don't have any friends just so I can follow the live streams. Others on Facebook include BCBGMaxAzria and DKNY.

Derek Lam, Betsey Johnson, Michael Kors, Nanette Lapore, Anna Sui, Calvin Klein, Odd Molly and Academy of Art Uni will all be streaming on their websites too.

Doing this website has made me realise just how many shows stream from New York. Really hope Rodarte stream this time as I really missed that last season.

ugh...no livestream till NYFW?

yeah so many livestreming on official sites and sometimes on style.com

thanks rosalynn for all that effort !!
a stream schedule will be so nessecary, so it's really nice to have someone to keep it all in mind :flower:

yeah NY has the most streams I guess. followed by Milan which also has quite a lot. and then it goes steeply downhill in paris

That's OK, I hope it helps some people out because it's a nightmare tracking them all down!

I think London's live streams are good too, but I know a lot of people don't really care for London Fashion Week - I hope a lot of off-site stuff streams too this season.

Paris is so frustrating - I think they just want it to come across more 'exclusive' than the other fashion weeks as I can't see any other reason for not streaming.

oh that london fashion week streaming last season off-site..terrible :ninja:

i think the worst one had to be diesel black gold though. that was just unwatchable

^True, Diesel was one blurry mess and it was lagging so bad I don't think I saw more than two looks from that whole collection  G-Star and Odd Molly were the best quality-wise and also because they had red carpet interviews and backstage coverage (like Hugo Boss in Berlin) which was great.

Thanks rosalynn for compliling the list!

That's OK! :flower:

I think my favourites from last year were possibly Pucci (pre-show was borderline comical), while I thought Burberry was a very good stream indeed, very good pre-show coverage, very professional in general.

Was it Dolce & Gabbana which kept cutting backstage throughout the show? Such a nightmare, especially as the models were sprinting down the runway three-abreast so it was hard enough to follow the looks even without that!

Oh hey rosalynn you got yourself a good business, huh?
Fantastic idea!

I agree with the sentiments of Paris wanting to feel exclusive. But for how long will they escape from technology -_-

I expect more designers jump on the live streaming bandwagon this season and less cancelations like the style.com's Christopher Kane and Céline streaming... that was a huge bummer for me :judge:

Have just added Jen Kao to the schedule who will be live streaming at 1pm on February 15th on JenKao.com :flower:

Naeem Khan and Rebecca Taylor are both streaming too. Rebecca Taylor is streaming on rebeccataylor.com, not sure about Naeem Khan but that will probably be on his site too, possibly First Comes Fashion as well.

Thought about starting a new thread but then remembered there was one created for Men's Fashion Week.

So, anybody else has any news about shows to be streamed? I'll try to make one complete list again.

I got an email from First Comes Fashion and they're streaming lots of shows this season again, am just putting everything together for my website first but will post a list a bit later on once I've worked everything out :flower:

So, notable absentees are Rodarte and Peter Som - last year Rodarte didn't allow live streams, so I assume it will be the same this season. The shows marked TBC are only because no announcement has been made, in previous seasons they have live streamed on their websites so there's no reason to think they won't this season too.

Also MilkMade STILL haven't confirmed their schedule. They are lousy at returning emails, so I expect their times will be published at some stage. Style.com and Vogue also streamed shows last year, but nothing has been said about this season yet.

All of these were compiled from various sources such as Twitter, Facebook, designer pages and FirstComesFashion.com for my live streaming schedule website. I will be updating the schedules on that as-and-when there are changes, and there will be live streaming reminders on my CatwalkLive.TV Twitter account.

I am still working on the schedules for London, Milan and Paris.
