Someone at style.com forum said that she is taking a 2 year break from modelling to focus on her projects with the world health organisation and also to focus on her family. I don' t how reliable this is but I thought I'd share it anyway.

If it' s true 2 years is along time . I miss seeing her so much already.

Good for her for doing something meaningful in her life! Obviously she wants to fulfil her life in a way modeling can't do for her....

^ That would indeed be lovely and def different . But it would be more suited for lets say a perfume ad. She is a naturally slim woman it' s amazing she snapped back to her figure so quickly after giving birth. She was pregnant on the cover of i-D.

Liya was kinda important to the modelling industry. As being the most used by designers she carried the modelling world into diversity after years and years of being stuck with one look. Did anyone else notice how this season there were no black models on the runway in Paris and Milan?. I don' t how to explain it but something has changed since she left. However I'm glad that asian models are getting the recognition they deserve. It' s there time to shine
