i was excited to see liya in the good shepard. it was unexpected; i had no idea she was in it, even though she didn't have any lines.

I just got back from seeing it and I was suprirsed to see her in it. She looked great though!

I think it's great that Liya is one of the few black models who are featured heavily in glossy magazines like Vogue, but I don't feel she's very versatile.

However I absolutely adore her understated style.
Here she is at a Cinema Society event in New York on 21/12/06.

Does anyone know what beauty/skin products she uses? And how she cares for her hair? Does she wear a weave? I'm utterly clueless about these things!

She doesn' t wear a weave. The hair in the candids is her real hair however at certain shows they do enhance her hair by using track pieces which get glued onto her hair. Most models get them whenever they need to achieve a certain look for the runway or editorials
